Installing Lemus ST02 removable road bollards is a process that you can do yourself.
Installation of road removable bollards ST02 - installation instructions
Step 1 Preparing the installation site
Choose a place to install the post and clear it of debris, stones and other obstructions. Make sure that the installation site is located in accordance with the requirements of the project design and road infrastructure.
Step 2: Well Preparation
At the installation sites, make a hole with a diameter of 150 mm or more, depending on the required wet strength declared in the project. Hole depth from 250mm. Usually the hole is made a little larger in diameter than the base of the column.
Step 3: Hole Concreting and Installation
Installation is carried out in assembled form for the correct fixation of the posts vertically. The removable part of the column is fixed in a glass, which will be concreted under the road surface.
To prevent the accumulation of wastewater under the glass, it is recommended to place crushed stone.
The space between the vertically mounted post and the ground is then filled with concrete.
The concrete cup should be installed 2-3 mm above the level of the road surface. Immersion depth 250mm.
When fixing the column, its position is checked by a vertical level.
Step 4: Finishing the installation
Once the removable bollard is in place, allow the concrete to dry for at least 24 hours without external interference to the bollard.
