Mounting rubber wheel bumpers - installation instructions
Before installing rubber wheel bumpers, it is necessary to prepare a place for their installation. Make sure the installation location is clean and dry. If there are traces of dirt on the surface of the installation site, clean the surface.
Step 2: Marking out the installation site
Mark the places where you need to install rubber wheel bumpers. It depends on the size of the rubber wheel bumpers and the type of vehicle. The recommended distance from the curb is 90 cm.
Step 3: Marking the location of the rubber wheel fenders
Place the rubber wheel bumpers in the places you marked in Step 2. Make sure they are even and the right distance apart. Install the rubber wheel chippers on the ground and mark the places of future fastening into the pavement through the holes in the wheel chippers. You can mark the installation locations with a puncher, or using a long chalk.
Step 4: Drill holes for installing rubber wheel bumpers
Move the wheel bumpers aside and make holes in the marked places in accordance with the length and width of the fasteners. After that, remove debris from the installation site.
Step 5: Installing the wheel fenders
Then drive the plastic part of the fastener into the hole, put the wheel chippers in place and fix them with the metal part of the fasteners.
If you are using metal pins, drive them into the holes through the wheel bumper.
Step 6: Verify and complete the installation
After checking the installation, make sure the rubber wheel bumpers are in the correct position. Make sure all fasteners are securely fastened. To test, try driving your car over the wheel chippers. Make sure that they work properly and do not allow the car to go out of the stop zone.
