FAQ Automatic barriers - answers to questions
What arrow length should I choose?
First of all, decide on the width of the overlap of the passage. Sometimes it is necessary to block the entire passage (as a rule, the entrance to the territory of the enterprise), sometimes (for example, the entrance to the territory of a residential building) it is necessary to leave a free zone (usually up to 1 m) for the passage of pedestrians. Typically, the boom length can be 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8.12 meters. Please note that with an arrow length of 4 m or more, it is necessary to put a support on which the arrow will fall.
What is barrier intensity?
This is a conditional value that indicates the frequency (intensity) of using the barrier. Typically, the intensity is indicated as a percentage. There are the following intensity values: 30%, 50%, 70%, 80%, 100%. The highest level of use is 100%, such barriers are used in large enterprises, wholesale depots, large parking lots - wherever heavy traffic is expected. The higher the intensity, the more expensive the barrier. If, in order to save money, you choose a cheaper barrier that cannot cope with the real load, this can lead to an early failure of the barrier mechanism. We recommend choosing the intensity with some margin.
What are photocells?
Safety photocells consist of two, as a rule, identical in size blocks - a transmitter and a receiver. The essence of the operation of photocells is as follows: if, with the barrier open, a passing car for some reason stopped in the boom lowering zone, then while the car body is in the zone of action of the photocells, the barrier boom will not lower and therefore cannot damage the car.
We need to block the entrance to the yard, about 100 cars drive in and out a day, what is the required intensity of the barrier?
Approximately 80%
How many years of warranty for barriers?
For GANT products, the warranty is 1 year, CAME, FAAC - 3 years, MAGNETIC - 10 years
How to raise the barrier if the electricity is turned off?
Each barrier has an emergency key, with which it is possible to unlock the gearbox and raise or lower the boom
We want to put a barrier at the entrance to the courtyard of a residential building? What needs to be done for this, where to get permission, where to start?

Next, you need to obtain permission for installation in the local state administration and the State Traffic Inspectorate of the city in which the installation of the barrier is planned
How many remotes can be connected to the barrier?
In basic versions - about 26 panels, depending on the model of the barrier. When installing additional equipment - any number
Can the remotes be purchased separately?
Can.
What is an arrow support used for?
The support must be installed with a boom length of 4 m and more, it removes the static load from the gearbox when the barrier is closed
