We have been doing professional installation of our parking and road equipment, including the installation of Lemus parking barriers in Kyiv since 2005.
If you are not in Kyiv or want to do the installation yourself, the instructions below will describe the process of installing parking barriers in a parking lot, parking lot or garage.
Installing parking barriers is a process that you can do yourself.
Installation of parking barriers - installation instructions
The installation of the parking barrier may vary depending on the road surface. In places with strong asphalt or tiles, installation on an anchor will be sufficient, in places with a thin or uneven road surface, concreting is necessary.
Installation of a mechanical parking barrier on anchors in places with good road surface:
Step 1: Assess the location where the parking barrier will be installed and make sure it is in compliance with safety requirements and traffic regulations.
Step 2: Prepare the tools and materials needed to install the parking barrier. This may include anchor bolts, hammers, drills, wrenches, and other tools that may be needed for installation.
Step 3: Place the base of the parking barrier. Place it in the right place, and using a drill, mark the installation locations.
Step 4: Remove the barrier, drill holes for anchor bolts at the markings according to the size of the dowel.
Step 5: Insert the dowels into the holes and hammer them in with a hammer. Make sure they are tight.
Step 6: Place the parking barrier in place. Through the base of the barrier, screw the anchor bolts into the dowels using a wrench. The parking barrier must be firmly fixed to the anchor bolts.
Step 7: Check that the parking barrier is securely installed and not warped.
Installing a mechanical parking barrier using concreting in places with poor and thin road surfaces:
Step 1: Assess the location where the parking barrier will be installed and make sure it is in compliance with safety requirements and traffic regulations.
Step 2: Prepare the tools and materials needed to install the parking barrier. This may include concrete mix, hammers, drills, wrenches and other tools.
Step 3: Prepare the surface on which the parking barrier will be installed. First, make a recess in the pavement with a size corresponding to the fasteners (approximately 20 cm depending on the soil structure) at the barrier site where the concrete will be poured.
Step 4: Prepare the concrete mix
Step 5: Pour the concrete mixture into the recess. Spread the mixture evenly over the entire surface and make sure it fills the entire space.
Step 6: Place the parking barrier base on top of the concrete pour.
Step 7: Leave the concrete to dry for a few days. and repeat the steps described for installing in good asphalt on the anchor.
Or install a barrier in the wet concrete and insert the pins into the installation sites. Leave the concrete to dry for a few days. Make sure that no one walks over this area and does not touch the concrete and the barrier so that it is not damaged.
